Family Game Night Event Overview!
This fun filled Event will be held on February 11th, 4:30-6pm
- Families may arrive and leave at any time during the event.
- PreK students and families are invited to attend.
- Students will visit various stops throughout the building, including:
- Classroom
- Library
- Art
- PE
- STEM
- Music
- Trusted adult
- Math game station
- Reading game station
- Game board/raffle ticket drop-off
- At each stop, students will collect teacher initials on a game board.
- Once completed, students will turn in their game boards for a chance to win prizes
MVE Wish Week in Support of Eaglecrest!
Mountain Vista Mammoth Impact is excited to support Eaglecrest High School Wish Week.
In honor of Javier from the Make-A-Wish Foundation we will have a week of spirit days. Below you will find the theme for each day this week.
- Monday-Sports Day
- Tuesday-9o's Day
- Wednesday-Spongebob Day
- Thursday- Dressed in the dark/mismatched, backwards, and inside out
- Friday-Rocking the Red! Show your love for Javier by wearing his favorite color!

- The event will happen the week of March 9th-13th
- This years Theme "Read Together, Shine Together!"
- Featured book: All the Stars in the Sky written by Art Coulson and illustrated by Winona Nelson.
We are encouraging everyone to read for 75 minutes during the week. Each minute represents one minute for each year the Cherry Creek School District has served our communities.

- Please note that if your child is already enrolled in Pre-K this school year they will be automatically enrolled in Kindergarten at their home school.

Choir Performances
Please make sure your calendars are marked for our upcoming performances. Doors open at 6pm and the performance will begin at 6:15pm. All performances will be held in the gym.
3rd-grade, March 10th.
Spring Choir concert, April 21st.
School Closure and Delay Information
In the event of a weather delay or closure, parents will be notified via the Connect automated message system.
When schools are closed:
- Before- and After-School Daycare programs are cancelled.
- All activities scheduled in district facilities are cancelled.
- In-district sports events and team practices are postponed.
When schools are on a delayed start:
- Elementary school bus pickup is delayed 60 minutes. School starts at 9:00 a.m.
- High school bus pickup is delayed 90 minutes. School starts at 9:50 a.m.
- Middle school bus pickup is delayed 90 minutes. School starts at 10:20 a.m.
- Dismissal times will be the same as usual for all schools, including morning preschool programs.
- Before- and After-School Daycare programs will operate on a normal schedule.
- We will monitor conditions throughout the day and make a decision about whether it is safe to hold after-school activities. We will communicate that decision as early as possible before the end of the school day.
Important Information
We understand that some parents may make a different decision for their families. If you feel the weather is too severe to send your child to school, please call your school's attendance line and let them know your child will be staying home.
Wednesday Early Release Reminder
Every Wednesday is early release day.
All students grades K-5 will be dismissed at 1:45 pm.
Our early release does not apply to Pre-K students.

This week, the Cherry Creek School District will celebrate 75 years and welcome back nearly 53,000 students from preschool through 12th grade. As a top performing school district in Colorado and the nation, CCSD celebrates this historic anniversary and commits to continued excellence for each and every student in the years to come.

The new NSWL Denver state-of-the-art performance center broke ground Monday morning; a one-of-a-kind partnership between Denver NWSL and the Cherry Creek School District. The goal is to help advance women’s youth, amateur, and professional sports in Colorado and support CCSD’s vision of a Pathway of Purpose for every student.

There was both excitement and tension in the air as six teams of students demonstrated their deep knowledge of 15 books as they vied for the title of Battle of the Books Champion.
